Tripartite interactive dialogue – Towards fair labour migration in the Americas: 2023–2030 strategic priorities to turn commitments into action

Drawing on the ILO Regional Strategy on Labour Migration and Human Mobility 2023–2030, panelists discussed key advances, challenges and priorities to ensure decent work for migrant workers in the region. Governments, employers and workers shared experiences on labour migration governance, fair recruitment, skills recognition and social protection, emphasizing the importance of social dialogue and tripartite cooperation to strengthen social cohesion and harness the full potential of labour mobility in the Americas. The exchange reaffirmed the commitment of tripartite actors to the implementation of the Regional Strategy and to promoting policies that translate commitments into action.
